My Hometown

Hi, my name is Dara Ikuoye. I am currently living in Monroe, NC but I grew up in Charlotte, NC. I love going to Carowinds during the summer (it is literally on the border of North and South Carolina). I really love the local restaurants here because of the variety of foods that they serve.

Post-Graduate Plans

I am currently in my third year of college and I am majoring in Computer Science, B.S. and plan to transfer to UNCC in order to complete my concentration in Artificial Intelligence. I plan to get a tech internship during the summer but the work starts for me to get it now. I don't have plans for a minor yet as I am still figuring that out.

My Relationship with the Internet

Growing up, I mostly used the internet to watch videos on YouTube but as I got older, I mostly used it for school based activities and connecting with my friends. The most important thing that the Internet has helped me with is getting access to information whether it be just for knowledge or to help me with a task. I spend most of my day on Internet in some way, whether it is texting, calling, watching videos, playing games etc.
